Job Description

HR Business Partner for a busy services facilities management based near Cardiff/ Newport, Gwyned, Monmouthshire, Wales - household names.

ROLE: This is a busy shared service centre based near Newport, Wales - you will be responsible for dealing with all HR delivery projects and improving efficiencies within a first class HR team. You will be adept at designing and delivering presentations to demonstrate how you will lead on developing effective improvements for the business.

Main purpose of role

To lead on developing an effective, service oriented, professional HR service function that delivers exceptional standards in HR support to our clients business clients. This includes the provision of administration, payroll, vetting and employee relations/case management service and legislation compliance.

Provides technical leadership for staff and work teams or task forces, particularly on emerging areas within specialised functional or process areasMain responsibilities

Provide directional leadership and guidance to the HR Admin, payroll and vetting to ensure they meet the strategic goals of the HR function and the organisation

Optimise the performance of the team through supporting personal development within the roles to meet clients' needs

Co-ordinate, monitor and review the team and individual objectives

Communicate regularly with the team to ensure up to date information is disseminated and distributed and acted upon, thereby ensuring the team are aware of all HR and Business issues

Develop the Service Centre model, promote this within the business, and ensure it reaches its full potential by continually reviewing performance against business needs, and looking at innovative practices to share with clients

Ensure robust processes and procedures are in place to deliver an efficient service, that is compliant, and protects the organisation in relation to legislative requirements

Ensure implementation of broader policy and adherence to external regulations

Manage expenditure within agreed budgets

Develop trust and long-term relationships across the organisation with different types and level of people

Skills & experience

Chartered Member of the CIPD or equivalent
Generalist HR experience
Commercial experience and strategic awareness.
Business improvement experience/ continuous improvement experience
Experience of using strong communication skills to build business relationships at all levels across an organisation.
