What will this role of Apprentice Joiner / Multi-skilled Trade Operative entail?
You'll work under the supervision of a qualified and experienced Joiner / Multi-skilled Trade Operative, undertaking repairs and maintenance including a full range of joinery, multi trade and wet trades works, on North Wales Housing property, whilst working towards a recognised qualification.
As part of the role you'll be working towards a recognised qualification, attending College on a day release basis to fulfil the requirements of your NVQ when required. You'll need to communicate your NVQ portfolio requirements to your Mentor and Line Manager in order to gain the relevant experience and evidence, and you'll be responsible for ensuring the completion of all training assignments and maintenance of your student portfolio required to achieve qualification.
What will I need in order to be considered for this Apprentice Joiner / Multi-skilled Operative role?
* Completed (or about to complete) a Building / Construction / Trades related Level 1 course at College with an excellent attendance record
* Ability to hold everyday conversations in Welsh
* Ability to lift and carry medium loads and operate hand and power tools.

What will I receive in return?
Salary: Year 1 - £4.50 per hour (above Apprentice wage) | Year 2 onwards - National Minimum Wage for your age

Contract: Temporary for up to 4 years, working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Location: Field based working at North Wales Housing properties across North Wales as advised on a daily basis.
